Is there a fandom for Downton Abbey? I hope there is a fandom for Downton Abbey. (Of course there's a fandom for Downton Abbey.) Do I want a Downton Abbey kink meme? This I am not so sure about. I do know that I want all the Bates/Anna fic in the world. I'm willing to go to FFN to get it, guys.
I'm lately enamoured of Hawaii 5-0 too, and I'm enjoying the fic--it's due South and SGA, both favorite old fandoms of mine (and everybody else), rolled into one--but am jonesing for fic where the pairing includes at least one woman. I would like some Good Wife-Kalinda fic with I-don't-even-care-who (for god's sake, not Peter Florek).
But the real truth is that I haven't been reading much fic lately--just the excellent story here and there (my current must-read-as-soon-as-it's-posted author isblue_soaring, of course), like rageprufrock's brilliant Presque Vu (Inception). (Presque Vu: read it as original fic, I think. I didn't feel like Arthur and Dom had the depth of a relationship in the movie--probably one of its faults--as is suggested here in the fic, but I bought it on its own terms.) Maybe I'm just restless: vaguely enthusiastic about several fandoms, but not fully engrossed by any.
