RIGHT? (Although given the nature of your seat, I am VERY GLAD YOU DIDN'T.) But seriously, his charisma, IT IS GREAT. One of the biggest differences between him and Adam, imo, is that while they are both CHOCK FULL of charisma and that special something that all successful cult leaders rock stars have, Adam's version of it translates amazingly well to television, which is why he was so successful on Idol, whereas Gerard (while glorious in music videos, to be fair) really HAS to be seen live to be understood, truly. MCR is so incredible live, and part of it is just how he connects with the audience in a way you just can't GET from video. Like, while I would always rather see Adam live than on youtube, obviously, you can comprehend what makes him great live from those videos, and before I saw MCR for the first time, I was WORRIED, because I can barely watch videos of their live concerts, even professionally done. Something about Gerard's ~presence doesn't translate well in them.

Also, he is the prettiest lady EVER. And while I know it was probably hard to take your eyes away from Gerard, I love that entire band so so much, Frank's simultaneous crankyface over his guitars AND being smiley and bitchy and just the asshole I love to love the MOST, and Ray fucking rocking out and Mikeyway being unbelievably hot and confident up there, UNF, and oh my god I love them and I'm so glad I got to see all of you afterwards even though I was KIND OF A MESS. ♥ ♥ ♥
